My Grafico Challenge

Steph over at her blog, Papercrafterthoughts is promoting a card challenge for My Grafico to win this cute stamp set by Kelly Medina. All you have to do is create a card which is fruit-inspired. Polka Dot Punches

Quick card I made yesterday. Versamark stamped the circles on the card base, and chalk-dusted them with light blue and green. The rest is pretty much self-explanatory. Mojo Monday Week 93

Haven't done one of these in a while. Mojo Monday Week 93 can be found here. Sometimes the mind is just so fizzled and I'm feeling so uncreative, and mojo-less, that a challenge or in this case, a sketch is just what I need to kick start the card making juices again :) Not sure if the kick wan't good enough this morning, but there's something about this card. It's definitely not something I usually make - colours, patterns, layout, etc. It's not horrific I guess, but I'm not exactly fond of it either. Despite this, you guys ROCK and always find some constructive criticism for my less-than-loved cards!

Made this card the other day. I was feeling good, and I really love how the card turned out! Fresh, clean lines, and bright :) I might be back with a Mojo Monday card (hopefully I'll make the cut off), but that is reliant on my ability to get started on an English assignment due on Thursday. First card in...

...HOW LONG?!

Wow! So I can't even remember how long it has been since I made a card. It's been so long, that I can't even remember! Sad.. I know. For both of us hahaha :)

Well tomorrow, hopefully the sun will shine brightly in Sydney and I will be able to take a photo of the reaaaally pretty card I made tonight. It is ready for my friends birthday on August 1st. So yep, I'm getting prepared birthday-wise reasonably early... HSC starts on October 21st I think.

Can we say, THAT'S SOOOOO CLOSE & STRESSFUL :D ...minus the smiley face for me hahaha. Actually I'm quite cool, calm and collected at the moment. We'll see how I hold up. Catch you tomorrow hopefully!

Polka Dot Punches

Yesterday Marcia Pringle from The Stamp Spot left a comment on my previous Polka Dot Punches card and suggested taking a look on SCS for some inspiration. I was really having trouble coming up with any ideas, which normally come to me when I get my hands on a new set. I have used SCS for inspiration and ideas before, but I just always seem to forget about it. If you want to take a look, just click here, and you can search for specific sets from SU! easily.

I sourced my ideas from this card here, and changed it up a little bit. I guess you could call it a partial-CASE :) Thanks Marcia for reminding me about SCS, and thanks to Nichole for inspiring me!
